I was born in the right era: I was meant to immortalise myself on digital platforms.
I’ve been moving underneath the username @leautjie for years now. It’s a combination of my mom’s nickname for me, Leatjie, and the Afrikaans word for a small lion, leeutjie. Because I am a Leo, of course I had to make it my username.
Feel free to address me as Leautjie or Leeutjie. I’m also happy with Lea.
Besides Instagram, I have a kind of dying Substack page. It’s still up for the mere purpose of showing that I am an art director that is literate. I love writing. I love reading. And I love making jokes.
My TikTok is also a thing. I am a self-proclaimed ‘niche reference’ in Cape Town. For a while, 2021 to 2025, I posted quite regularly on TikTok. I did a bit of content creation for local brands. However, it wasn’t something I could see for myself.
My Tumblr is also here. This is just for fun. And to show that I have been on the Internet for more than what was needed. If I could, I’d link my YouTube channel of where I made Sims music videos, but I suffer from too much pride to do that.
